I’m the creative leader of our family. A computer programmer by day and a creative soul by night. I like sewing, knitting, painting, lace making and lately especially creating with clay.
I find kids art exceptionally free and courageous and it inspires me every day. I believe everybody can create something beautiful and it usually takes just a little encouragement to bring out the creative side of people.
Creativity is a muscle and if you work on it it will brighten up your days and bring joy to your life.
I love to create with my family because it gives us a special bond. We spend time together, talk, sing, share ideas, sing and do magic together.
Borut is a computer programmer and co-funder of our small computer software company. Although his biggest passion is running, he is a vital part of our creative endevour. He's in charge of glazing the pottery, photographs of our products, our web page and Etsy shop.
He runs at least one marathon a year and we love to accompany him on his travels. Traveling acros european capitals gives us the opportunity to explore and search for new inspirations.
Our 11 year old has so many hobbies, he is always on the go. He is a great musician. Beside playing the piano for 4 years, this year he also started to play the doble bass. He does the karate and participates in air gun competitions. He is a boy scout, likes photograpy and is a wonderful artist.
He's a wonderful cartoonist and his latest passion is drawing on iPad. His favourite thing in ceramic world is drawing on bisque fired clay. His patterns are often a big inspiration for our ceramics.
Nine year old Zoja is in my opinion the greatest artist of our family. She loves to create and a day doesn't go by without a brush in her hand. She is a painter by heart and her colour combinations are out of this world :-) She is my biggest teacher and many of our creations are based on her ideas.
She plays the violin and loves to make lace - our local handcraft which our town is famous for.
Our youngest, six years old girl has been surrounded with creativity all her life. This year has been full of milestones for her. She started school in the fall and started to play cello. As shool stuff of her siblings takes a lot of our "family time", she creates by her self many times. You can see her walking around our home, looking for scatered objects (that usually belong in trash) and making sculptures. Glue and nail polish is her favourite creative supply :-)
Generous with kisses and hugs, she is like a glue to our family and many times she is the one, who encourages us, that after a long day, we get together and play with clay.
